Before fashion there was architecture in my life. Although I don't practise architecture anymore, I do miss the idea of designing built forms, the volumes, the light, the sequence of spaces, the experience.

During my visit to Melbourne I visited my friend Anthony Clarke's studio. We studied together at UWA and now he has his own practice. He had this wall full of amazing models. He is an amazing designer.

It made me miss architecture and designing in the larger scale.

But never look back.. I am in a much happier place now. I love my job. Every single day I love what I do. I consider myself very lucky. I wake up every morning and I can't wait to go to my studio. Even though some days I spend all my time doing paperwork and not much of the creative aspects, I still love it.

MELBOURNE BOUND!

Yes we are! My new collection and myself will be taking a small trip to Melbourne! It's been a year since I was there last time, I hope its not as cold! Although the weather has been pretty miserable here in Perth too!

I'm sure Melbourne will welcome me with some sunshine?
