inspiration...

I am often asked what inspires me. 

I struggle every time to answer this question because I feel like it is my chance to justify/ validate my creations..  when really, no one really cares...  !

When I was a student at Bunka Fashion College, Diane von Furstenberg came and gave a talk.  I asked her a question and she told me:


'In the end you have to do what makes YOU 

happy before you can make anyone else happy'.


What I asked her isn't even relevant.  


This quote has stayed with me and will forever be my inspiration.


I am so lucky that I am able to do what I love and I hope that my happiness brings positive energy to those around me.
