Not long now till the STYLEAID show!  I hope you are all excited as I am!

PERTH FASHION FESTIVAL

It is crazy to think that this time last year I was working towards putting together my first ever collection.  Now I am happy to let you know that Monster Alphabets will be showing at the Perth Fashion Festival as part of the W.A Designer Collections.

I still can not believe that all this is happening.  I am so grateful for the opportunity.

Obviously I did not have Styleaid and Perth Fashion Festival in mind and therefore has turned my schedule upside down. It is a very exciting time for me, everything is happening all at once!!  Despite the crazy busy schedule,  I  still love my job everyday.  I am so glad that I am able to do what I love.  My week has totally lost any kind of hierarchy.  I work on weekends and I work evenings.  I lose track of what day of the week it is as I am in my studio everyday working away.  better go do some work...

STYLEAID : BETTS CREATIVE DESIGN AWARD

Those of you following my progress, I am excited to finally announce that I am the reciepient of Styleaid Creative Design Award, sponsored by Betts Shoes.

Every year Styleaid gives away this fantastic award to new local designers.  First I was shortlisted and then I went into the final interview.

The judging panel consisted of Paul O'Connor from Aurelio Costarella, Gino Premici from Betts and Shelly Tindale at Tindale.

This means that I will be taking part at the annual Styleaid fashion show!  I never anticipated doing a runway show so early in my career.  I am petrified but totally excited.!
